Our message

On June 25, 2017, thousands of cyclists will ride together to celebrate and strengthen mental health awareness in support of all Canadians affected by mental health problems and illnesses.

The Trotter Trikes are thrilled to be “putting our pedals to the mettle” once again in support of Ride Don’t Hide and the Canadian Mental Health Association.

One in five Canadians will experience a mental illness in their lifetime, and more than 6 million people in Canada are affected by a mental health challenge each year. In a 2010 literature review, Alberta Health Services found the prevalence of poor mental health in the construction industry is much higher in comparison to other industries in Canada.

We recognize the importance of positive mental health in the workplace and are committed to supporting our employees at all levels of the organization who may be suffering from mental health problems or illnesses.

This is just one of the many reasons that Trotter & Morton has stepped up to be a Diamond Sponsor for Calgary’s Ride Don’t Hide event for the second year in a row.

Join the movement with the Trotter Trikes by registering as rider or volunteer and help us end the stigma associated with mental illness.

You can also donate to our team and help us reach our goal of $5,000 to support CMHA programs and services across Canada!

What a day! What a team! The Trotter Trikes rode over 1,200 km on June 25, joining 6,700 riders across the country to raise awareness and support for those facing the stigma of mental health challenges. Thank you so much to everyone who visited this page and contributed to the Ride Don't Hide event in Calgary. With your generous support, we have raised $8,300 toward mental health programs and supports offered by the Canadian Mental Health Association! We are so grateful <3
