2018 was quite a year for Bryce and Missy. In January, Bryce was diagnosed with CLL. In October, Missy's mother, Sandy, was diagnosedwith MDS and CLL.We seemed to find our footing when we put our energy into positiveendeavors. It started with doing the Hawaii Lavaman Triathlon with LLSC'sTeam in Training in 2019, we raised over $11K and showed our friends and family how research is making real strides. It gave us all hope. We attended another LLSC CLL seminar in November 2019 and were reminded what a formidable and excellent organization LLSC is -they are relentlessly advancing research and innovative in fundraising,outreach and support.So we asked if we could please get more involved and here we are! We are Co-Chairs for the LLSC Toronto Light the Night Virtual Walk Event. COVID-19 has tried to derail our plans, but we are adapting and LLSC is working tirelessly to bring you an immersive and inspiring virtual walk on October 22nd, please join us!
