About KidSport Ontario

KidSport™ is a grass roots Canadian non-profit organization that provides support to under-resourced children and youth 18 years of age and under by removing financial barriers that prevent them from playing organized sport.

KidSport believes that no kid should be left on the sidelines and all should be given the opportunity to experience the positive benefits of organized sport. KidSport provides financial assistance to children in order to remove financial barriers that prevent them from playing organized sport.

KidSport is about Kids…Success is measured by the number of children who have been helped as a result of KidSport's initiatives and supporters.

KidSport is about Fun…The primary goal of children’s sport programming should be that each child has so much fun that they can’t wait to play again next season!

KidSport is about the Future…All kids should be given the opportunity to develop healthy lifestyles, no matter the financial, physical or language barriers that may exist! Staying physically active helps encourage children to maintain healthy habits throughout their whole lives. The challenges that come with playing sports also teach children valuable life lessons and skills including leadership, practice, hard work, dedication and self confidence.

Keep Playing Kids is a national not-for-profit that provides FREE sports programs to children in their communities. Keep Playing Kids provides fun and safe recreational activities to help keep kids active. Keep Playing Kids eliminated the financial barrier, making sports accessible to everyone. They also prioritize getting all kids involved, regardless of gender or skill level. By leveling the playing field, Keep Playing Kids gives all kids a chance to benefit from the positive nature of organized sports.
