Hell in the Harbour features a 6km obstacle course race spanning Hamilton’s beautiful waterfront and features over 17 obstacles that will challenge all fitness levels! The event is in support of Special Olympics Ontario through the Law Enforcement Torch Run and is helping to raise awareness and much needed funds for Special Olympic athletes.

This non-profit organization helps provide quality sports and training programs for children, youth and adults with an intellectual disability that are only possible through the generous donations that are raised at events such as this.

Hosted in the scenic Bayfront Park, Hell in the Harbour, returns for its 3rd year on Saturday August 5th, 2017 to challenge participants in new and fun ways! After taking a step forward in 2016 with a new course layout and new obstacles we are looking forward to taking the next step in 2017 and making it bigger and better than ever! That means more obstacles, more fun and more entertainment! Hell in the Harbour allows participants to take on an obstacle course designed to challenge participants of all fitness levels

We are also excited to announce that one of last year’s favorite obstacles, the H.M.C.S. Haida is ‘on-board’ once again for 2017. Participants will get the opportunity to climb aboard this treasured piece of history on their way to the finish line!  Obstacles are designed with multiple fitness levels in mind and will challenge participants’ physical strength and mental toughness all while having fun for a great cause! Hell in the Harbour will offer a ‘competitive/timed’ category to satisfy those with a competitive edge and who want to see how their time stacks up against the rest and a ‘just for fun’ category for participants who want to take on each obstacle at their own pace and see what Hell in the Harbour is all about!

The event also includes a post-race celebration with live entertainment and plenty of great vendors to refuel with. Whether you plan on tackling the obstacles first-hand, cheering on participants as a spectator or showing your support as a volunteer, Hell in the Harbour will be an exciting event for everyone!
