500 RUNNERS PARTICIPATED IN THE LAW ENFORCEMENT TORCH RUN BENEFITING SPECIAL OLYMPICS QUÉBEC 

On behalf of the 7200 athletes of Special Olympics Quebec, we would like to thank you warmly for your presence during the relay of the torch 2018 which took place on Thursday, May 17, in 9 cities of Quebec for a total of more than 500 runners.

We would also like to thank our partner, La Caisse Desjardins des police and the various police forces (SPVM, SPAL, Sureté du Québec, the peace officers in correctional services, the RCMP, the police of Richelieu-Saint-Laurent, Quebec police, Lévis police, Akwesasne police and CN police).We would also like to thank our partner, the Caisse Desjardins des police and the various police forces (SPVM, SPAL, the security of Quebec, the peace officers in correctional services, the RCMP, the police of Richelieu-Saint-Laurent, Quebec police, Lévis police, Akwesasne police and CN police).

Your participation, generosity and social involvement played a vital role in the success of this event and raised $ 16,000. Next year, we mark the 50th anniversary of the Special Olympics movement around the world. For this nothing better than an event high in challenge, challenge and participants.

A UNIQUE BENEFIT EVENT WHERE 9 TORCH RUNS OF 5 KM WILL BE HELD SIMULTANEOUSLY ALL OVER THE PROVINCE IN THE FOLLOWING REGIONS:

Baie-Comeau, Côte Nord – Longueuil, Richelieu Saint-Laurent – Sherbrooke – Montréal – Québec – Amos - Akwesasne - Rouyn Noranda - Val d'Or
