Hi everyone,

I will be biking from Toronto to Niagara Falls for my 22nd birthday on Saturday, August 18th. Without the support of those who will be riding with me, I would not be in a position to test my limits and I feel it is right to reciprocate that same sense of support to other youth in Toronto. Why I chose Eva's place: I chose Eva's because it is a local, grassroots organization that provides shelter for homeless youth and youth who are at risk. Estimates are that there are around 2,000 homeless youth every night in Toronto and I think that supporting an organization that gives direct help and mentorship to young individuals is one way to shape a better future.

About Eva's Place: Eva’s is an innovative organization that operates 3 unique facilities in Toronto, providing safe shelter & diverse programs/services. Their goal is to help homeless and at-risk youth reach their potential to lead productive, self-sufficient and healthy lives. While youth learn work skills, Eva’s staff provide counseling, job placement & housing search support to help youth achieve self-sufficiency.
