My Message

Hello Fellow Patriots!

Thank you very much for generously supporting the MARSOC Foundation thru the #MALCOM300.  Myself and partner Kyle Hanson completed the 300 mile journey in just over 17 hours and averaged a solid 19.8mph pace.   We departed Camp Lejeune, NC on Wednesday 2 November and pedaled our bicycles over remote back roads, heavily traveled state highways and even some gravel roads before ending up at The Citadel in Charleston, SC around 11:15 AM on Thursday Morning.  All in all it was a fantastic ride with minimal problems.  This was my fourth ride over 200 miles in the past five months and honestly it was not by best one.  I felt like I was fighting a virus or something. Kyle did a tremendous job keeping the pace and making sure I did not quit.   Regardless of how I rode, the most important thing was that I met my ambitious goal of $3,000 and also raised awareness for the MARSOC Foundation and kept the sacrifice of 1st Lt Dan Malcom alive.  I am not sure what my next epic ride with be, but rest assured I will continue to do my part to raise money and awareness for the MARRSOC Foundation.  I will type up a detailed report with photos in the future.  If there is anything I can ever do for you please let me know.  Thank you again!!

2 November 2016 - #MALCOM300 ... I, along with my cycling mate Kyle Hanson, will ride 300 miles unsupported, non-stop from Camp Lejeune, NC to The Citadel in Charelston, SC in honor of 1st Lt Dan T. Malcom Jr., USMC, KIA 10 November 2004 during the battle of Fallujah.  Dan was my classmate at The Citadel, I was with him just before his death, and this is our 15 year Class reunion. In order to honor his sacrific Kyle and I will destroy ourselves thru this 300 mile honor ride.

Thank you for visiting my Miles for MARSOC fundraising page.  I am raising funds and awareness for the MARSOC Foundation, a 501c3 non-profit that provides benevolent support to Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC) Marines, Sailors and their families.

Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.

Many thanks for your support -- you are sending a powerful message to the Marines, Sailors and families of MARSOC that their service and sacrifice do not go unnoticed.  Please share this link with your friends and family if they would like to support my campaign.  Thank you!
