Every year, I run the Toronto Challenge in support of my Popo (my grandma).
Last year, she passed away after suffering greatly from Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease for many years. I'll always remember what an amazing and strong woman she was.
On Sunday, June 12, I will run 5K in the Toronto Challenge to raise funds for seniors like my grandmother so that they can receive services and the support they need to live in comfort and dignity as they age.
The best thing about the Toronto Challenge is that all proceeds go directly to helping vulnerable elderly people in need - people who don't have the same support system my grandma did.
This year, my goal is to raise $1,000. Please help me achieve my goal! Every little bit counts and is greatly appreciated!
PS Pepe will be there with me but he will walk 1K as he turned 8 this year and is a senior now himself!
