Hello friends and family,
It’s that time of year again for the NHSPCA’s Doggy Paddle Plunge and I am excited and proud to participate in this amazing event for the 5th straight year! On March 11th, I will be diving into the Atlantic Ocean, off the coast of New Castle NH, on behalf of the animals. Due to your support and generosity in the past I have been one of the top 3 fundraisers every year that I have participated. I hope to continue this trend in 2017, as unfortunately there are always animals in need of the services that the NHSPCA provides.
The New Hampshire SPCA in Stratham NH receives almost 2,500 unwanted, neglected or abused animals each year. They provide each one with veterinary care, a warm bed, food and eventually, a loving, forever home. They receive no federal funding so must rely on community donations, volunteers and sponsorships to provide such services. The Doggie Paddle Plunge has become one of their annual fundraising events and this year they have a goal of reaching $20,000 in donations. Every pledge, no matter what the size, will help them in achieving this goal.
