As many of you may know, for over a decade I have been a member of the Board of Directors of JAZZ.FM91, Canada’s only 100% dedicated jazz radio station.

Jazz.FM is an arts charity, and although mostly known for our incredible jazz programming, our work in the community is just a significant, with a wide array of outreach programmes.

As a registered charity, we rely on the gracious donations of our listeners who contribute regularly. The main way we do thi is with on-air fundraising drives. So this year we tough we'd do something entirely different!

It's a way that a larger group can be a part of our fund raising.

On September 10th, at 3 pm, for those that are able, we will be walking to 4 of Toronto’s premier Jazz clubs. To join in the walk, participants must raise the minimal donation of $200, by your own donation or thru your friends and family.

My personal goal is to raise $5,000!
