This is my 15th year to participate in the Polar  Plunge to benefit Special Olympics Kansas athletes . Basically, the plungers raise money for Special Olympics by going into one of 11 locations in Kansas... COLD COLD COLD!!! Donate below using your Credit Card to help with this great Fundraiser.
The Polar Plunge is scheduled to take place all over the state. If I raise $5,000 then I will jump in 7 different Kansas locations. Kansas City on January 27th, Topeka on February 3rd, Manhattan on Feb. 10th, Emporia on Feb. 17th, Garden City on Feb 24th, Lawrence on Feb 25th, and Meade on March 3rd....  I would like to encourage you to come out and watch us plunge into the cold waters. I would also like to challenge some of you to come out and plunge along side of me. Because hey lets face it... when else would you have the opportunity to plunge into freezing cold water without dying... Yes it's cold... but it only lasts for a short amount of time!!! 
 I would not continue to do this if it wasn't fun...but also...if I didn't believe in the organization and their mission.
