In early April, I will be participating (again!) in the Ramah Israel Bike Ride and Hiking Trip. I'll be challenging myself physically riding throughout the Negev Desert, approximately 300 miles over 5 days, with an aggregate elevation of over 15,000 feet… that means a lot of very steep hills!
I am raising funds for an excellent cause: The USA based Camp Ramah Tikvah Program for special needs individuals. I am extremely proud to be riding in support of this Camp Ramah Program, which enables children, teens and young adults with special needs to enjoy wonderful summer experiences. At each of Ramah's numerous camps, and various programs, campers with special needs participate in all programming, alongside their typical peers. The money raised will make a real difference in the lives of those with Autism, Aspergers, Down Syndrome, and other conditions of developmental delay.
I have visited the Ramah summer camps and seen first hand the special needs individuals enjoying a wonderful experience. There is no doubt that all donations are "money well spent". Frankly, your generosity, and those with special needs, will truly inspire me as I ride each day, when I climb those hills, and hopefully, make sure that I don't fall off my bike!
So, I’m asking you to join Margy and me in making life a little easier for those families to give their child the gift of Summer Camp. Donating is easy, fast and secure.
Thank you, in anticipation of your generosity.
