My Message

Thank you so much for supporting me as I walk to make a difference for those individuals and families dealing with Alzheimer's disease and dementia. I am walking in memory of my mother and her sisters and supporting Alzheimer's North Carolina as they continue their work with families in local North Carolina communities providing much needed programs and services.

Hi, Verla, you helped the Alzheimer's Walk and Education Fair raise over $30,000!!! Funds from this event will be contributing at least $10,000 to ECU's Wooten Laboratory to research Alzheimer's desease. I hope you heard Dr. Qun Lu speak at the Walk about the lastest research against dementia. Also, one of our sponsors gave $5,000 for caregivers' respite. Thank you so much for your team's large contribution in the fight against Alzheimer's disease. Good to see you again!
