I’m proud to participate in the 9th Annual Branch Out Bike Tour.  Why?  Because we ALL have a brain. 

Since 2010, the Branch Out Neurological Foundation has funded non-pharmaceutical and tech solutions to neurological disorders.  With 1 in 3 Canadians directly impacted by a neurological disorder, this is a cause close to my heart, and I truly appreciate your support.

Branch Out is a brain-loving charity that funds alternative neuroscience research across Canada.  From robotic arms to music therapy, your funds are directly impacting the way we look at and treat the brain.  The Branch Out bike tour is a not-so-quick bike tour where riders can ride 80kms up to 160kms around Winderemere Lake in BC.  Because my teammates and I like to have fun and like to raise the stakes a little, we do the ride in costumes and on Tandem bicycles (YES, TANDEMS!!!)  THe bike are not efficient or light, but this cause is important to use and we want to make a difference.  I've attached a couple photos from years past, just to let you know how serious we are about Brain Health.

Each year, I personally commit to only reach out once to my contact list for fundraising help.  I know that as these economic times continue the need for financial support remains high, and the ability for most to contribute has shrunk.  I appreciate you stopping by to check out my page, and if you can spare a few of your hard earned dollars, I would forever be greatful.
