My Message

Thank you for visiting my GearUp4CF Pledge Page!  Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is the most common, fatal genetic disease affecting young Canadians.  It destroys the lungs and digestive system.  There is no cure.  But there is hope and investing in research makes a difference.

I ride for my niece Lucy (age 6), and all of those affected by this terrible disease. Watch the video above to learn more about Lucy. 

Now in its 14th year, GearUp4CF has raised nearly $2 million for vital cystic fibrosis research and clinical care. The median age is now 52.3 years. Join me as we raise even more to achieve our vision of a world without cystic fibrosis.

I'm excited to share that SAP has joined as a corporate sponsor and an inspiring team of 20 SAP riders (Team SAP!) will unite with Team Lycra for Lucy to ride for awareness and support of CF research.  

This will be my third year participating in the ride and it is without question one of the most challenging physical things I’ve ever done but it’s nothing compared to living with CF.
