First off, I would like to thank everybody who continues to support this event that is incredibly meaningful to me and my family. I cannot express how much it means to me.
For any newcomers, my story is as follows. I first became involved with Outrun CF on April 6th, 2014 as a volunteer. From that day, my life changed forever. I met my beautiful wife that day and have since become a part of the cystic fibrosis (CF) battle. My wife Courtney and her sister were both born with CF and have spent their lives combatting this illness, which carries its share of complications. I have only been privy to the past 5 years, but have still gained enough insight to confidently say that improvements are constantly being made. Whether it's access to or types of medication, patient care, or overall quality of life, strides forward are being taken. Which brings me back to my initial point; without the support of all of you who take the time to join this effort in raising awareness and funds, these progressions would be glacial. On behalf of my loved ones, I thank you once again.
I look forward to seeing everybody who can make it out on April 14th!
