Hi everyone,

Please consider supporting the WAVE Foundation which raises money for women and families in our local community who are impacted by domestic abuse. In addition to housing and services, they also provide education and empowerment programs for kids from middle school through college.                                                                                                                              

This is the second year a group of Winshuttlers has participated in the WAVE event, but it's one I've supported in the past as it's an important cause and a really inspiring community event focused on positive change. We're also looking for more team members so feel free to join the team and walk/ride along side us!

Walk the Wave/Cycle the Wave is a fundraising event that includes a 3 mile walk (Burke Gilman Trail), a 6 mile bike ride (ride around Lake Union), or an 18 mile bike ride (3 loops around Lake Union). 

Who: Everyone is welcome to join! In the past this event was only open to women, so we’re excited to see that they’ve opened it to everyone.

When: 10am – 2pm on Saturday, September 7th, 2019
