Welcome to my YAY Move-a-Thon fundraising page! I'm helping raise funds for Youth Assisting Youth's (YAY) life-changing One-to-One Youth Mentoring Program, and I'm really inspired by the impact they're having on youth and families during pandemic!

YAY empowers youth to change their communities, and their lives, through the power of mentorship and relationships. And during the COVID-19 pandemic, their program and the relationships and connections they create are more important than ever! Since 1976 they've matched over 5000 at-risk kids with a volunteer youth mentor, and youth mentors have given more than 2 million hours of volunteer service to the program. Mentoring gives kids a consistent, caring relationship, during their pivotal adolescent years, helping them to build resiliency, stay healthy and succeed.  

The YAY Move-a-Thon supports youth in your local community, and every dollar raised helps move some of the 400 kids on the wait list into meaningful mentoring relationships.
