It's year number 10 for me!!!

There’s just something about running into water that was just covered in ice and a balmy 40 degrees!

I believe in the cause doing this crazy thing supports! I had always known about Special Olympics. But I really didn’t know anyone with or who had children with special needs until my daughter’s 2nd grade teacher adopted 2 children with Down syndrome. Granted, they were babies at the time, but I watched them grow, participated in Step Up for Down syndrome and still follow these rock star parents every day.

I have a bestie whose son participates in Special Olympics. To see the excitement and joy he gets from bowling makes me happy!

To know that me begging you all for money helps make kids and adults with special needs experience team work, laughter, friendships, and pure happiness makes freezing to death for 30 seconds well worth it!
