As the cost of living rises in communities throughout our province, more British Columbians than ever are contending with acute forms of financial strain, housing insecurity, relationship breakdown and other poverty-rooted hardship. Demand for legal services has never been higher. Pro Bono Going Public is more critical thenever for ensuring that we can continue to provide access to legal services to thousands of British Columbians in need.  

In order to meet the growing demand, Access Pro Bono is organizing its 17th annual free legal advice-a-thon so that BC lawyers can continue to support this much-needed charity, and do what they can to ensure access to justice for British Columbians in need.

This September 9-27, I'll be one of over 200 lawyers providing free legal help at Pro Bono Going Public 2024.
