I’m joining Ride for Refuge to raise funds for the Social Development Centre Waterloo Region (SDC), an organization that means so much to me and to our community. I proudly serve on their Board because I believe in the work they do, advocating for equity, amplifying the voices of people with lived experience, and building solutions with the community, not just for it.

SDC has been a trusted space for over 50 years, tackling complex issues like housing, income inequality, and social justice. Their work ensures that everyone -especially those most often left out - has a seat at the table and a voice in shaping our shared future.

Your donation will help sustain programs that make a real difference: supporting grassroots leaders, community researchers, and systemic advocacy that changes lives.
