My Message

This is my second time running with the Windy City Angels. I am running the Chicago Marathon for my son, Brady, who was diagnosed with Angelman Syndrome at age 2. Shortly after being born, Brady’s mother and I noticed developmental delays, swallowing and eating issues, lack of achieving milestones and the onset of seizures. He immediately began numerous daily therapies. We continue to challenge Brady and strive to encourage Brady to participate in activities like other typical-aged children.

Brady just turned 8 years old and despite all his challenges, he continues to bring joy to his family and those who love and surround him on a daily basis. Brady’s smile is contagious and his love is endearing.

I am running this year to continue spreading the word about Angelman and how people can donate to the Foundation to increase quality of life and further research. Please be thankful for what you have and lend a hand to others who need help. On behalf of the Angelman Foundation, I would appreciate any donation towards my goal. Please educate yourself and others about the Angelman Syndrome by visiting the website.

Help spread the word!
