To everyone who supported CiTR's Fundrive, Thank You! I'm sure our move will be made that much easier, if not seamless, owing to your help.
Stay tuned to 4'33". We hope to bring you many new sounds this spring. And thank you for listening!
Dear Friends,
CiTR is having its annual Fundrive between February 27 and March 7, where we will be working to raise $35,000 to help us move into a beautiful new space of the Student Union Building in November of this year.
The show, 4'33", has the ambitious goal of raising $433 to help CiTR reach its goal. As a program dedicated to experimental, avant-garde and new music, I am reaching out to the community in the hope that you will support our effort to continue to provide locally relevant, alternative and independent programming.
The new music community in Vancouver and beyond is a tightly knit group that is passionate about diversity and experimentation. I know that sounds like a paradox, but so is being vocal about fundraising for a radio program called 4'33" (named after John Cage's compositions where performers are instructed not to play their instruments!) However, I am optimistic precisely because this community has already come together to support the show. As part of our fundraising campaign, 4'33" has received excellent swag and prizes, courtesy of local businesses and organizations.
The fundraiser is now over, but you are still able to donate to CiTR online and receive a tax receipt immediately upon completing your donation.

4'33" was a success! Thank you to everyone who supported the show! This was music that we brought to you on Monday.
On Monday’s 4’33”, I’m excited to bring you the newest and freshest sounds from Canada, coast to coast! Support Fundrive, win prizes, enjoy beautiful new music!
