Thank you for donating to The House's "My Story, Our House" campaign!

While you can read the campaign details on the homepage of this campaign - I guess "My Story" is actually the story of "Our House" and how it all came about! However, I am humbled by our achievments over the past 10 years, as they are far greater than I could have imagined or ever achieved alone.

My story began with an idea. No location, no funding, no board; just a handful of "kids" sitting on the floor having discussions...It was really just an idea. But I was passionate about the idea and many good people people began to rally around it. Suddenly, or so it seemed, students and young adults started coming out to classes and programs; generous individuals stepped forward to provide initial funding; friends rallied together to form boards and committees....and now WOW!

I don't know if I could have ever dreamed that The House would grow into such a dynamic organization, transforming Jewish Toronto. We engage over 1000 young adults annually to programs, events, and classes that inspire them to see their Jewish identity as relevant, fulfulling, and integral to the choices they will make, the families they will build, and their committment to strengthen our community.

Whether you are a participant, a donor, a community partner, or a friend,  you are all responsible for the great achievements of The House to date. Just as I could not have forseen what has happened over the past 10 years, I am sure that we will both be amazed by what the next 10 years will bring.

That is what this campaign is all about for me celebrating our achievements of the past  while fueling our vision and dreams for the future. Please support "our house" in this campaign, and help us not just achieve our goals, but surpass them!
