Welcome to My Personal Page

On February 23, 2017 at approximately 11:30 a.m, Alameda County Deputy Sheriff Mike Foley passed away after being struck by a vehicle while walking to work at the Santa Rita jail. Mike was a a true example of what honor in service looked like. Mike's passing was a true loss to the department. It's in his honor I decided to ride in the 2018 Police Unity Tour.

Most of you know I was recently hired as a Deputy Sheriff with the Alameda County Sheriff's Office.

I have been with the agency for just over a year. In that year, our agency has lost 5 members of our family. Some have passed from age but others like Mike have been killed in the line of duty.

Mike is just one of the hundreds of brothers and sisters in blue that have made the ultimate sacrifice and laid their lives down serving and protecting the people of their communities.

A few sobering statistics:

Every 60 hours a peace officer is killed protecting our families and communities

Each year, there are over 58,000 assaults

More than 5,000 injuries on law enforcement officers

On average, 146 officers are killed in the line of duty each year

The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial honors America’s fallen law enforcement heroes who have died in the line of duty. Their mission is to tell the story of America’s law enforcement officers and make it safer for those who serve.

My participation in the Police Unity Tour helps sponsor the Memorial and its programs like the Officer of the Month Award, Recently Fallen Alert notifications and other special projects.

With every dollar that I raise for the Police Unity Tour, I’m doing my part to honor not only my brothers and sisters in blue but their families as well.

Today I am asking for your help to raise my goal of $2000 dollars. If you want more details about the Unity Tour visit the website and see what it is all about. A 250+ mile bike ride ending in Washington DC at the law enforcement memorial.

Thank you Everyone for your support!
