My Message

Welcome to my Virtual Lemonade Stand Donation Site for St. Joseph's Hospice!

My name is Aaliyah Gallant-Barons.  I started fundraising for ALS Canada when I was 7 years old because my Papa, Ed Rossol, was diagnosed with ALS.  My Papa passed away in 2017 at St. Joseph's Hospice in London, Ontario.  In 2018, I decided to start raising funds for St. Joseph's Hospice as well as ALS Canada.  I have learned that even someone my age can make a difference.

Since 2015, my friends, family and other organizations have supported me with donations and I have now raised over $30,000.  I appreciate the support!

Last year, my Dad and I bought the lumber and we built a lemonade stand together. In August I held a Roadside Lemonade Stand, where a videographer was able to film my "Virtual Lemonade Stand" video.  My video was launched in the Fall of 2018.

Help me support ALS Canada to finally find a cure for ALS, so there is no need for ALS patients to go to a Hospice!  And, help me support St. Joseph's Hospice for those who are nearing end of life to have the care and compassion that my Papa had.  Papa was so lucky to spend his final three months at St. Joseph's Hospice where the staff and volunteers became his family and friends.

I want to especially thank....

o The Belmont Lioness Club who have kick started my Virtual Lemonade Stand with their generous donations to ALS Canada in both 2018 and 2019.  Thank you for your support!

o The Belmont Lions Club who kindly provided tents for my event as well as a generous donation to ALS Canada.  Thank you for your support!

o All of you who have made donations!

"If I can make a difference, you can too!"

Status of Total Donations:  With my fundraising initiatives and events held by other family and friends, over $80,000 has now been raised for ALS Canada and St. Joseph's Hospice combined in memory of my Papa.  He would be proud!
