Did you know that there are 2,000 homeless youth in Toronto every night?

Each year Eva's gives over 2,000 homeless & at-risk youth a fresh start.

Eva’s is an innovative organization that operates 3 unique facilities in Toronto, providing safe shelter & diverse programs/services. Their goal is to help homeless and at-risk youth reach their potential to lead productive, self-sufficient and healthy lives. While youth learn work skills, Eva’s staff provide counseling, job placement & housing search support to help youth achieve self-sufficiency.

Coincidentally, the word yoga comes from the sanskrit word ‘yuj’ which means to unite and put together. Through practicing yoga, we not only bring our mind body and soul together but we also create a bond and a community with the people around us. Through this event, I hope we will be able practice our yoga but at the same time be able to extend a hand out to our neighbors in need!
