Hi friends!
I am excited to make Cystic Fibrosis History by embarking on a human powered crossing of the Trans Canada Trail, spanning 24,000km in memory of my sister Lindsay. Terry Fox was my childhood hero who inspired me to do something with this one precious life to honor little Lindsay, who lost the battle to CF. This heartbreak has shaped my values and outlook on life and is helping me make the most of my days living in the best way I know. Exploring the great outdoors and using my boundless energy and gift of good health to help bring this disease to an end.
Every week in Canada one baby is diagnosed through newborn screening and the funds raised are helping the almost 4,300 Canadians living with CF.
My vision is to find a cure or control for this devastating genetic disease. And I will be chipping away at the Trans Canada Trail whenever the timing is right!
Due to the generous community, we are closer than ever to ending CF. The median age of survival in Canada for those living with CF is 52.3 years and the CF population is thriving due to our world-class research and care, but we still have work to do.

Thank you in advance for your support and I believe that together we can make CF history!
I’ll be thanking you all from the great outdoors while I cover the countries incredible trail system and advocate for Cystic Fibrosis awareness.
Cheers!
