My Message

You all know I am not the type to ask for sponsors/donations every year. Last year we raised $300,000 for early-onset Alzheimer's and dementia research with the 1st ever SealFit event in Canada - I participated in the 24hr category. SealFit is modelled after US Navy Seal "Hell Week" and is known as the toughest civilian training in the world.

2020 is now introducing a 50 hour (KOKORO) category and I have chosen to register to see if I can double the impact from the year prior. This is a Cause I am truly passionate about. Interestingly enough, Kokoro (Japanese: 心) means "heart; mind; mentality; emotions; feelings" in Chinese characters.

I promised everyone that I would not take any sponsor value for granted and would give it my all for the full 24hrs. Your support and generosity fueled me to be 1 of 7 to complete the full 24 hour event on September 21st (World Alzheimer's Day). If you believe in this Cause as much as I do and are willing to kindly support me for this round and the 1st Kokoro event in Canada, I give you my word I will put my full force of commitment to the required training and throughout the event.

These are brain health issues that affect over 44 million people worldwide. Baycrest Health Sciences is a global leader in healthcare, research, innovation and education. If you are prepared to help me with your contributions, I am prepared to go more than the mile.

To give you an idea of how I am earning your donations:
