What is your ideal dream job?
"I would like to work in an office. I am good at answering phones, filing, and entering data in computers."
What accomplishments make you most proud of yourself?
"I completed a one year internship with Project Search when I lived in Wichita. I worked in different departments for Sedgwick County: Department of Finance, Department of Aging and the Health Department."
How has Special Olympics changed your life?
"I did not have many friends before joining Special Olympics. I have met many new friends since joining. I have learned how to work with other players in a team. I feel a lot more confident about myself. Special Olympics has encouraged me to be active and push myself."
What challenges have you had to overcome, and how did Special Olympics help you?
"When I was little, my doctors didn’t think I would be able to walk. I was scared to try new things. My coaches have encouraged me to keep trying to be my best."
What does attending USA Games mean to you?
"Going to the 2022 USA games means a lot to me. I am so excited to represent Kansas. This is the best thing that has ever happened to me."
What is something interesting about you that most people don’t know?
I really enjoy singing karaoke. I’m not afraid to sing and perform in front of people.
