What accomplishments make you most proud of yourself?
"Working at Andover Central High School in the kitchen fo 17 years. Being selected to be in the Special Olympics Kansas Hall of Fame."
How has Special Olympics changed your life?
"Special Olympics Kansas has given me the opportunity to make connections with other athletes and coaches who have become family. Special Olympics has allowed me to be the star athlete I've always dreamt of being."
What challenges have you had to overcome, and how did Special Olympics help you?
"Special Olympics has given me the confidence to talk to others when I know they may struggle to understand me. I've learned to be myself."
What does attending USA Games mean to you?
"Everything! Means all the years of practicing and trying my best has paid off. I will represent Kansas."
What is something interesting about you that most people don’t know?
"I enjoy playing cards and singing karaoke."
