What is your ideal dream job?
"Working at Dillons, the job I have now"
What accomplishments make you most proud of yourself?
"Doing well at a job for 8 years, becoming more independent, able to travel and compete with Special Olympics, and having friends from different places."
How has Special Olympics changed your life?
"Made me more independent and outgoing. I'm more active and have realized that I love sports."
What challenges have you had to overcome, and how did Special Olympics help you?
"I was very shy and didn't want to talk to anyone, and I had trouble making friends. I found others with the same abilities as me and the coaches brought out the athlete in me and give me self confidence."
What does attending USA Games mean to you?
"Meeting new people from other states, seeing friends I met before at other USA and World Games, and showing other states what Team Kansas can do."
What is something interesting about you that most people don’t know?
"I am part of a hot air balloon crew. We help get the balloon in the air, chase, and help with landing and picking up."
