What accomplishments make you most proud of yourself?
"The May 28, 2019 KMBC Tornado Coverage. I won an Emmy Award for the coverage on November 14, 2020."
How has Special Olympics changed your life?
"Meeting new friends from all over the State of Kansas on zoom calls during the pandemic and meeting new friends at the past Summer Games events."
What challenges have you had to overcome, and how did Special Olympics help you?
"Having to train during the pandemic has been very hard to be motivated to do and not seeing the athletes and coaches daily and weekly has been the biggest challenges."
What does attending USA Games mean to you?
"The biggest honor you can have to compete on the grandest stage of them all and to compete against other athletes around the USA."
What is something interesting about you that most people don’t know?
"I am the lead photojournalist for Total Traffic and Weather Networks/Metro Networks Communications llc that leases a helicopter to KMBC TV9 in Kansas City."
