"It's given me the opportunity to grow and meet new people. I've created lifelong friends."
What challenges have you had to overcome, and how did Special Olympics help you?
"Shyness. I used to be really shy. Now I have no problem talking to other people and being an advocate for others."
What does attending USA Games mean to you?
"I'm excited for the opportunity to be a part of the USA Games! It gives me great pride in myself, and pride to be representing my community and state."
What is something interesting about you that most people don’t know?
"I love to sing!"
