By sponsoring a plate you are providing meals, love, acceptance and so much more to our Lighthouse Mission Community. A community that is made up of men and women from all types of backgrounds, with as many different stories as there are faces. Many struggle with addictions, mental health or physical challenges, but each one is a person deserving of love, acceptance and encouragement. 

Meals are what bring people to our door, but once at Lighthouse, they recieve so much more. Our team of dedicated staff and volunteers are helping people each and every day hear about God's love for them, and making sure they know that they are not alone, but loved and cared for. Our Spiritual Care Coordinator, Donald, is helping them fill out applications for long-term addictions programs, walking alongside them through the process. Our Assistant Manager, Kim, makes sure communtiy members can access clothing, blankets and hygiene supplies in our newly renovated Daytime Shelter Space at 667 Main Street.

This year we have seen a huge increase in the number of people from all areas of Winnipeg reaching out for assitance in meeting their nutritional needs. We have gone from providing 30-35 Emergency Food Hampers each month in 2019, to over 70 per month in 2020.
