My Message

My name is Amy Heil and this year on October 9th, 2022 I am running my first full marathon in honor and support of my 17 year old niece Annie, her wonderful mother, father and siblings, and the entire Angelman Syndrome community.  Not only am I humbled to have the opportunity to run for such wonderful people and a supportive community, but especially to get to do so alongside my sister and best friend, Katie Kilcullen (the beautiful mother of my Angel niece Annie).

Throughout Annie's life there have been challenges and the overcoming of obstacles that many cannot begin to imagine. I am inspired by Annie's strength, the perseverance of her family, and the blessings that come from witnessing this strength and perseverance. I am so excited to be a part of the Windy City Angel's team and sincerely appreciate all of your support!

With Deepest Gratitude,

Bank of America Chicago Marathon
