Brrr… It’s cold out there! And to experience homelessness AND the cold is a double whammy for any individual or family. On Saturday, February 24, I will be joining others in Grand Junction and across the United States to walk on the Coldest Night of The Year, a new national walk to raise money to combat homelessness, hunger and hurt in our community.
As many of you know, HomewardBound of the Grand Valley has been close to my heart for a long time. My eighth year-term on the board, and most recently as board chair, came to a close in December 2023. I want to continue supporting this great organization, not only with my continued volunteering, but also financially. I’d ask you consider a tax-deductible donation to my team, The Frozen Bookworms. If you are a Grand Valley resident and want to join us to walk, please PM me to join our team. Sorry, no dogs on the walk.
To make an online donation, please follow the following link:

If you’d prefer to write a check, please make the check payable to Coldest Night of the Year and mail it to me at 2687 Lookout Lane, Grand Junction, CO 81503
Thank you for your support.
With love and many thanks,
Karen
