The Coldest Night of the Year, February 24th, is a moment when we step outside the warmth and comfort of home and shine a light of welcome and inclusion in Hudson.
Together, we're collecting donations that fund critical services at the Hudson Area Backpack & Food Program, who serves and supports vulnerable families and individuals in Hudson.
We walk through the cold and dark on February 24, 2024 to declare our concern for people who struggle in our community.
We walk for those who work hard, yet can barely afford to house and feed their families.
We walk for those driven from home by violence and abuse. And we walk for people overwhelmed by mental illness, isolation, guilt, and despair.
We walk humbly, realizing that anyone can lose their footing and then lose everything else.
Organized by River Valley Charities, this event brings together Hudson Area Backpack & Food Prgram, Operation HELP, Grace Place, and Our Neighbors Place to work for the common good in the St. Croix Valley. Working together makes us all better!
We will walk in downtown Hudson, but you can walk anywhere you are located that day. You can particpate to raise money, but you can also particpate to raise awareness. Please give generously of your time, talent and treasure for this important cause! You can donate now by clicking the "Donate Now" button above. Thanks!
