We had freezing cold weather for approximately 10 days with temperatures dropping below zero and remaining in the single digits and low teens for most of that time recently. During that time I volunteered at the Warming Shelter and met so many of our homeless who spend their days and nights out in the elements. I heard their stories and their struggles as they try to figure things out. It was eye opening, heartbreaking and heart changing. I have names to the faces now and this was just a small number of our homeless in Bartlesville.
It's cold out there. And on February 24, I'm going to do something about it. Together with other people across America, I'll be walking and fundraising to support people and families experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness in my community. Please, give generously by clicking the "Donate Now" button above. Thanks!
