Once again this year I am taking part once again in the Ride for Refuge. This is a bike ride to raise money to support those fleeing war, danger and persecution in their home countries and who hope to make a home in Canada.

Having hosted refugees in our own home we know how difficult it is to adjust to an entirely new way of life in a new country, and the massive problems they face if they don’t have support. Refugees often have little voice in what happens to them, and a small amount of support can make a big difference. The money will go to a local organization that we know well, is entirely privately funded and does excellent work with few resources. Please support my ride, and support some of the most vulnerable people on the planet.
