Hello again. I'm fundraising in the Ride for Refuge on September 28 in solidarity with people seeking hope, safety, and freedom. Firstly, thank you so much for your contribution last year to this worthy event in which we raised nearly $30,000. I just wanted to highlight some of the ways these funds were used. These funds have enabled us to support refugees with complex health needs, provide emergency housing for women and children fleeing domestic violence, and intervene when vulnerable newcomers were faced with choosing between feeding their family and paying rent, just to name a few. By participating in the RIDE, I'm standing in solidarity with people who have little or no voice and who often get left behind or ignored.
