Hello Dear Friends who have participated in supporting me on previous years.  I would be thrilled if you could do it again this year.  Read below and find out how....

I have again registered a team in the 2024 Grand Parade, a 2.5k walk on the Kiwanis Field track behind Pauline Johnson Collegiate on Saturday, September 21.  ITS MY BIRTHDAY and I can’t think of a better way to celebrate with you.   

It will be a motivational event raising funds in support of GRCOA programs and activities like the bi-weekly Community at Home virtual workshop series and newsletter which keep older adults informed and connected.

I would like to invite you to join my team “The Strolling Sistas,” as a "Walker". Once you have registered, please reach out to your family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers to support you. My goal is to recruit 5 walkers on my team who will each get 5 donations.

Can you help me make that happen? 

You will see there are instructions and tools available for you as a "Walker" to create your own web site, insert pictures, and obtain pledges. When you raise $150 ($75 if you’re under 18) you’ll also receive a nifty TGP t-shirt.
