I'm participating in the Ride for Refuge on October 5 in solidarity with people seeking hope, safety, and freedom. I'm raising funds for Feels Like Home Newcomers, an organization dedicated to supporting refugees in their transition to life in Canada. By participating in the RIDE, I'm standing in solidarity with people who have little or no voice and who often get left behind or ignored. The funds will be directed towards our life skills class, benefiting over 50 families by providing conversational English lessons and essential tools for daily life, including banking, renting, food security/sourcing, and healthcare.
