The Grand Parade is a walk that raises money for older folks in our community who need our help. In Canada, growing older often robs people of status, a sense of being valued, and even self-respect. I am walking and fundraising to publicly honour and support aging friends, family, neighbours and our aging community members who deserve the ongoing exceptional quality care offered by the Carefor Health & Community Services team. Carefor is a leading, not-for-profit charitable organization that helps people on their healthcare journey, putting their needs first. Carefor offers a wide range of health and community support services to meet the unique needs of our community members, whatever their life circumstances may be. 

As many of you know, my mom and her sister have been involved with Carefor for over 25 years.  My brother and niece are both on the Board of Directors.  I would appreciate your support in this fundraising event.
