I’m participating in the Ride for Refuge on October 5 in solidarity with people seeking hope, safety, and freedom. This event, though just a few hours long, has the power to make a significant impact. By joining the RIDE, we stand with those who have little or no voice, often overlooked or ignored. Through our fundraising efforts, we support North Simcoe Victim Services (NSVS), a charity dedicated to assisting victims of crime, intimate partner violence, human trafficking, sudden death, tragic circumstance, or disaster, 24/7.

NSVS provides emotional support and practical assistance, with specially-trained volunteers helping victims with immediate needs and referrals for longer-term care. The organization relies on donations to support clients, covering costs like transportation, safety equipment, home repairs, counseling services, emergency accommodation, food security, basic necessities, crime scene clean-up, and more.

Your donation would make a tremendous difference in helping victims within our community receive the short- and long-term support they need.
