Hi everyone,

I'm fundraising on behalf of the South Essex Community Council (SECC) a not for profit community agency in Leamington, ON in a across Canada Ride for Refuge on October 5 from 10-12 at Point Pelee national park in Leamington ON. The purpose of the ride is to bring the community together and raise funds for welcome kits and mental health supports for those refugees and their families who may have experienced traumatic events before, during and after their migration journey. It is our hope that these mental health supports along with case management and mental health counselling will help the healing and recovery of trauma. By participating in the RIDE, I'm standing in solidarity with people who have little or no voice and who often get left behind or ignored. By fundraising, I'm supporting a charity, SECC who is bringing hope and refuge to those same people. Whatever amount, you are comfortable with donating is amazing and most appreciated.
