As a Life Enrichment Assistant at Shalom Manor it is a privilege to serve these invaluable, deeply loved people whom God created. They find themselves unable to do what they used to do with ease. I am fundraising to help provide a safe, beautiful and functional place they can call home. A place where they can receive medical care, visits from family and friends, comfort spiritually, emotionally and physically, social engagement with those who share their home, and things to do for a sense of achievement and enjoyment. It's an important part of honouring our loved ones who desperately need it and can't provide it for themselves anymore. We can give them and their loved ones more to smile about in a difficult time.
