Falcon (my Surface 604 e-bike) and I are participating in the 2024 Ride for Refuge in support of the Sanctuary Youth Centre in Victoria, BC. The actual ride is being held on Saturday, October 5th, but I will be riding later in the month due to recovering from Covid. I technically have one month to complete the ride and both of us (Falcon and myself) are eager to do this. By fundraising for this event I am supporting the Sanctuary Youth Centre which is a drop-in center for youth that are homeless and live on the streets of Victoria. The Center is open five days a week and serves youth aged 14 to 22. It offers them a hot meal, laundry facilities, clothing, self-care supplies and food.
