Baby, it's COLD OUTSIDE! Can you imagine seeking shelter in an entranceway, under an overpass, anywhere but directly IN the elements? Tonight, it's going to be 16 degrees. Y'all...thanks be to GOD for a safe, warm space to lay our heads at night. And I desperately pray this is the case for everyone in our community...unfortunately, our homeless community is growing in need. So, for the third year, I am joining others worldwide to walk and raise funds for those seeking a basic human need. The Coldest Night of the Year (CNOY) gives us a chance to help our neighbors through Portsmouth Volunteers for the Homeless. I am so impressed by this organization and its dynamic director, Dr. Darlene Washington. Help me to help her continue to make a difference in the lives of God's Children who seek warmth, compassion, and a bed of their own. How? First, we begin with prayer for a successful, bigger, better-than-ever walk, and then we pray about how much you can donate. Give thanks, pray, donate. OH! And join our team! We need you!
Thanks, y'all. I love you!
Pr. Suzanne
