It’s cold out there, and this February, I’m taking action. I’ll be walking and fundraising to support the Shuswap Food Action Society, an incredible local initiative that provides hot meal programs to our schools. Many students face barriers to accessing healthy, local meals, and Canada is one of the few industrialized countries without a national school food program. School food programs are vital in providing nutritious meals to students who might not otherwise have access.

Kids can’t learn if they’re hungry.
